The Newmarket Town Pastor scheme launches today. Following the examples of schemes in Ipswich and Bury St. Edmunds, they plan to patrol on Saturday nights, looking after vulnerable people affected by Newmarket's busy nightlife scene. See their website on: www.newmarkettownpastors.org This scheme was set up by Churches Together in Newmarket and District and has recruited Town Pastors from 10 churches in the area.
John & Selene Borda are both Town Pastors, and Bordaline Web Designs are very happy to be supporting this scheme, which has the potential to reduce crime and ambulance calls, and help ensure our night-time economy is a safe one.
